My name is Chiara. After graduating from high school in science, I enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts (Painting) and qualified as a Restoration Technician of Works of Art. For years I worked in the arts: first as a fresco restorer, then as an interior decorator and entrepreneur.

Paper flowers was born 10 years ago when, drawing on my wealth of personal resources (entrepreneurship, manual skills, technique and creativity), I found the courage to make creativity my job.

I have always had a special relationship with paper, a kind of tactile falling in love with this delicate, ephemeral but at the same time ductile, resistant and living material that, through my hands, becomes a natural element again.

I have developed a personal technique that stems from an intimate and intuitive process, from careful and respectful observation of Nature, its perfect forms, the infinity of its nuances and attempts to reproduce it by interpreting its beauty and grandeur. My creations wish to return the emotion of wonder that one feels in front of the simplicity and perfection of a flower.

Mi chiamo Chiara. Dopo la maturità  scientifica mi sono iscritta all’Accademia di Belle Arti (Pittura) ed ho preso la qualifica di Tecnico del Restauro di Opere D’Arte. Per anni ho lavorato in ambito artistico: come restauratrice di affreschi prima, come arredatrice di interni e imprenditrice poi.

I fiori di carta sono nati 10 anni fa quando, attingendo al mio bagaglio di risorse personali (imprenditoria, capacità manuali, tecnica e creatività), ho trovato il coraggio di fare della creatività il mio lavoro.

Ho sempre avuto un rapporto speciale con la carta, una specie di innamoramento tattile per questa materia delicata,  effimera ma allo stesso tempo duttile, resistente e viva che, attraverso le mie mani, torna ad essere un elemento naturale.

Ho sviluppato una tecnica personale che nasce da un processo intimo ed intuitivo, dall’osservazione attenta e rispettosa della Natura, delle sue forme perfette, dell’infinità delle sue sfumature e tenta di riprodurla interpretandone bellezza e grandezza. Le mie creazioni desiderano restituire l’emozione della meraviglia che si prova di fronte alla semplicità ed alla perfezione di un fiore.
